hi answerbankers.

how do i make things rite? We met up after a hard day with my mate who is loosing her sight (armd) I felt so lucky and realized i take a lol for granted. I had a drink with my mum and just felt happy i could see. My friend rang and askd me to go round 2 hers. Feeling so elated an realizin my moanin is nothin compared 2 my friend i sed i will go round. (not the mate with armd). a bottle later i sed stuff i cant remember. I started out happy an ended up with egg on me face (as they wud say) now me friend has given me the cold shoulder. drank way 2 much and cant remember end of nite. put in a cab an sent home. this happend last tuesday and she wont return my texts or calls. wot can i do to fix things. thanks abs.

Is there no way you can find out what you may have said/done (and if it was you who said/did anything) from the friends you were with?

Have you checked your phone in case you made any calls or texts while you were so drunk?

Otherwise maybe a text (or handwritten letter to show more effort) to say you don't know what happened and assume it was while you were extremely drunk etc... but that you are really worried as she won't respond and if it is anything you have done then could you meet to talk about it at least.

hi jenna. thanx 4 ur reply i have done all wot u said. no further on since last wk of and im so upset. I must have bin in the wrong and i have sed sorry lots of times. we have bin mates many years and i must of uset her sister or mum. There was only 4 of us there. I'd give some advice if I didn't feel I need a translation the read this.
It's not so much spelling-but just laziness. If you can type 'wud' and 'wot',then go a bit further and type the full word. Otherwise it looks a bit rude. Punctuation helps also.

yes answerbankers its age related macular degeneration and there is no more the surgeons can do. Only 52 but they have said she has the eye sight of a 90 year old.
When i left her i just felt so lucky i only need readers. I should of stayed home but i went to another friends later on and the rest is history. By the way i went out at the week end and had shandy. Learnt my lesson and really miss my friend. Thanks jpt x

all you can do is perhaps send a card, apologising for your stupid behaviour. ARMD or not, if you came round my house and got bladdered, I wouldn't want to see you again. It's a very hard lesson for you.

What Jenna says, a well constructed note of contrition and admission that you were, to say the least, a plonker, handwritten, on nice paper, perhaps an offering of flowers as well. Get your English checked before you seal it in the envelope.
