I have heard that the herb Remefimen is excellent for lowering blood pressure. Unfortunately you can'tbuy it in this country. Does anyone know of an alternative. Many thanks.

Queenio, don't repost, but next time you'd do better to put a title reflecting yoru question, rather than your name - otherwise people don't know what you're posting about.
I can't find any reference to it lowering blood pressure. Most of the claims see to centre around relieving menopausal problems:

Pomegranite Juice which you can buy from the supermarket at approx £1.50/litre has been found to work in medical trials (you can search on the net if you wish). On that basis my other half tried it and it was successful.
Here's just one of the many articles on pomegranite juice

Thank you for all your information- I haven't checked that last website yet, and, yes, I do have hypertension.
queenio.....so why not get it assessed medically?
I believe reducing the amount of salt in the diet, not smoking, not drinking too much, and maintaining a suitable weight, can also reduce high blood pressure.

I HAVE had it assessed medically. The lower number is fine, but the upper number is too high. I was offered drugs, but I would prefer to try to bring it down naturally if possible.
queenio....right.
