Had my upper eyelids done yesterday by Dr Sood (130 Harley street) and already I am delighted with the results. Just had local anaesthetic with no sedation so chatted through the whole procedure. Dr Sood, or Mr Sood as the receptionists address him, is a complete gentleman who put me at ease from the word go. I too took advantage of the groupon deal and I'm so glad...

Sherrard, I found Answerbank when I had been ripped off by an online company, there was a link via Google to a thread on AB about the company concerned so I joined and posted on it.
This guy is not on the "specialists register" of Great Britain.

On the website it says that he is a FRCSI (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland) but not confirmed by the GMC link.

He has never occupied a consultant post in Plastic Surgery in the UK, but this doesn't make him OR his results unsatisfactory.

As I have mentioned before.....personal recommendations from other doctors or patients are essential.
Rajeev Sood sounds like a different person, you can google any number of Dr Soods.
boxy....LOL or Singh or Gupta or Sayeed........;-)
Indeed :-)
Exactly daffy. As of now, for me this thread ranks #5 on a Google search for "dr s c sood" so anybody who searches on that name will find this thread and may well then join AB to ask for more info. Not suspicious.

For all new members and non-members reading this thread, Sqad (above and on previous page) is a retired surgeon and his opinion is therefore worthy of special note - although all he's really said is "get a personal recommendation from other doctors or patients", which is just common sense in this case ...
You're sure it's not Dr Seuss?
Here's hoping future Groupon users do some Googling and find this thread before parting with a sizeable sum of money!
I`ve only had a quick browse but it looks to me like Dr S C Sood founded the business with a guy from Jeddah (Dr Bakhsh). Maybe he`s the consultant and the work is done by Mr Rajeev Sood who could be the surgeon?
Sorry forogt to add GMC ref no 1712506

Crumbs, voices, this is your first post since you joined AB ten years ago!
Has anyone since had the operation and could give me feedback about how it went and whether or not they are happy with the result.
Has anyone since had the operation for eyebag/lid surgery with Dr Sood and if so could they tell me how the operation went and whether or not they are satisfied with the result.

Thanks

Hi Bagapoo, thanks for getting back, so pleased all went well I should have been brave enough to have followed throuigh myself, I still want my eyes done unless groupon comes up with the same deal I'll have to pay out.
Hi Bagapoo, thanks for the feedback. Did you have the operation done in Dr Sood's consultation rooms or was carried out in a hospital?

Glad to hear it went well and that you're happy with the result already.

Hello

I am so glad you have posted on here. My consultation is at the end of March. I feel relieved to know someone else has had this surgery, although I am having lower eyebag removal. I am a little anxious about local anaesthetic though..could you just travel home following the operation?
