My Tinnitus is gettng worse

I have had it mildly for about 10 years but, the past few weeks its there most of the day and louder, buzzing, ringing, clock ticking and the noise like the sea shore.

I know there is no cure but, is there anything that I could get to suppress it apart from wine, as its driving me crazy?

I have hearing aids, they were suggested by the tinnitus clinic. I dread taking them out on a night though.

Distraction? Trying not to focus on it (easier said than done) and try and avoid really quiet places by keeping some low level noise around or having headphones on with music/radio etc...

Depends upon the cause of your tinnitus and i am going to assume that it is age related (presbycusis).

Go to your Hearing aid clinic and ask if you can try a tinnitus masker.
