St Swithins day..

Hello..does anyone know a rhyme/poem/song relating to St Swithin...(not the 40 days of rain) I have already found "A Deeside Ballad" by George Davidson...but surely there must be more out there somewhere?

A bit more googling has found that the title of Jane Austen's poem, above, is actually 'Venta'

"When Winchester races", by Jane Austen:

St Swithin also gets mentioned in association with the eve of All Saint's Day, by Sir Walter Scott:

. . . and isn't a song really just a poem set to music?

it's really noisy, that's very unusual for July, even for St Swithins Day! It sounds dangerous out there and I've to drive to pick my son up in a bit.
Better hope it dont rain where you are . Watch out : 0)
