Marshwarble....I can honestly say that I haven't a clue what you talking about !
I don't understand the question

Was that a euphemism, og. I must say, I'm surprised at you. ;(
I find it necessary to use both the definite and indefinite articles both in speech and writing. I don't believe they are passe.

Sorry, tropes.

Maybe we are both getting passé, Mikey!
Marshwarble....you may very well be right ! I have googled both words and I can't say I am much the wiser!
I find when people say "clickbait" they usually mean "headlines", which have always been designed to get people reading what goes under them.

No sure what troupes and tropes are.
Plain english please !
Question Author
A trope is an idea, most notably one that features on the (badly named) TV tropes website, but there's kind of Wikipedia feel to it. Clickbait has been described.
