I have just watched Brian May talking about Team Badger on BBC1 and he is asking for people to sign it. All the information is here.

Here's what David Attenborough has to say on the subject. You've got to love the first comment - 'Save the badgers - cull the government'.

People in the public eye, like Brian May, would be better off directing their energy towards children's charities, too many to name, and when our country is free of child poverty, child exploitation and paedophilia, to name but a few, then perhaps I might be tempted to sign a petition like this.
In that perfect world there'd be no need to sign petitions of any sort. ^
Done, Thanks for link.
Brian May could quite easily sit on his @rse (like a great deal of folk in public the eye) and do nothing if he so chooses, but he feels strongly about this and brought it to attention, good on him.
bluetoffee..how sad u r

anyway i´ve signed up, wasnt too hard
Well said, Arksided!
26,000 cattle were slaughtered last year as a result of bovine tuberculosis which there is evidence that Badgers carry.
Where is the petition to save those cuddly little calves and cows?
Confirmation email received (see link on my post earlier at 09.25) so this petition IS working (sorry hadn't noticed it closed 7 Sept 2013 not 2012 LOL!) Please spread the word about this petition. Thanks.
shoota, the evidence is flimsy. Any mammal can carry tb - deer, hedgehogs, cats, dogs.

That's true Kiki but the Badger is protected.
The petition closes next year on 7 September 2013
