While the SPCA won't be able to help you directly, they might know of a charitable organisation in your area (or just a generous vet!) who might be able to help you. Phone them on 03000 999 999.

Similarly, while your problem is outside the scope of the Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society, somewhere there might know who can help you. Phone 01764...

missy-I think welshie is quite sympathetic to your problem...she certainly did not seem to be rude. Hope you get your dog sorted.

sorry just seemed like she was having a go i am very stressed trying to get my dog better thank you sorry again
antibiotics will not help a fungal infection (in fact, they can cause them)
could you ring your local vet and ask if you can pay in instalments, perhaps? They wouldn't want to see an animal suffering - worth a try!
Boxtops has made a very good point. Isn't there something called "pet plan", where you can pay in installments? I'm sure someone would help you out. No vet would just say no, and see the poor dog suffer.
Ah, where's Rolph Harris with his blimmin Animal Hospital, when you need him :)

Oh, and I don't think Welshi was "looking down on you", either. I think you read it the wrong way, due to the exclamation marks. She was just being nice and trying to help... :-)

Good luck!
The only PetPlan I know, flip, is the insurance company for pets (we're in it) - but with the price of vet bills these days, I'd have hoped some might have payment plans available.
Ah, that's what I was thinking of.
I do agree though, I'm sure they would have some kind of payment plan set up. A bit like dentists do... or is that not the same thing, either.
I still think it's worth asking.
Yes, definitely worth a shot!

What breed/breeds of dog do you have? Some are prone to skin problems and there may be something that you can do. Is it one of the vet in the town of Perth that you go to? Fair City are a good practice.
missy, sorry if my comments came across the worng way!...Didn't mean them to, was just trying to help!.....

I hope that you get it sorted out - my wee lad is coughing due to his asthma just now (he's a cat) and it feels awful not being able to do anything to help him.
