That's a relief. I wouldn't use their website as a matter of principle. I listen to Talksport in the mornings until that ad comes on then I switch to radio 2 or if in the car, a CD.
The '118 118' ads have asimilar effect on me!
i hear it on beacon fm around 3 times a hour, have to listen to it as they say kerrang is lil to heavy for them....lol
I think that's the idea. Whether you like it or not, their brand name is going to stick in your head for ever more.

Think of 'we buy any car' or that awful Swiftcover ad with Iggy Pop. Hate them, but you will remember them, and a small percentage of is will use them for that reason alone.
It's awful and would certainly put me off using their website. The idiot who shouts able double glazing is just as bad, so are the meercats. I loved the dancing milk bottles all those years ago.
I can't get out of my head the advert for TV Licensing, the "Push a Little Button" song - I like it, but I sing the damned thing all day long.
Some Ninette, just for you xx

Just for you DSJ. You can't beat a classic tune, can you.

When I was working many years ago I criticised an advert for off peak electricity. My boss said as long as it made people notice it, that was what was required. So that is what Go Compare have achieved. You have noticed it! Incidentally I tried it and saved £100 on my house insurance (hope this is allowed as I don't intend to advertise). Have always loved the milk advert, saxy-jag, thought it was among the best I have ever seen, and still remember it
Spot on, Starbuck ... there's no such thing as bad advertising.
I think you'd be the only one not to find it annoying

Thanks, saxy_jag. That advert really brought back happy memories!
