ABlog Yeah Ain't that something Middle of a drought, the water commissioner drowns. Only in L.A.

17:16 Fri 26th Oct 2007 |

Another ABlog begins, another week is fading out and its time for me to wearily pick up my pen and put together another blog. But not without enthusiasm, indeed there is a glint in my eye, a spark of passion and from there I will create my magnum opus

Ok thats enough of that, now lets get on with the business of the blog. In a week when a building that looks like a toilet is making the headlines, there have been goings on in the world of AB as well. Chatterbank has been making waves and the results of the inaugural vote have been counted, and it has been decided that it is to stay! However, treat it with respect, otherwise the powers that be in AB Towers will review its status and it may be disconnected for good.

Indeed, the site should be working faster as whole after the IT people pulled a 4am start to improve its efficiency. So you should be feeling the results of that by now. Also echoing round the drafty corridors of AB Towers has been talk of the private messenger function on SAB, which has been well received but no final decision has been made on it. We are still looking for your feedback on this, so keep on letting us know your experiences of it. With enough enthusiasm there is a good chance that it could find its way onto AB soon.

31 October is approaching fast and this is a particularly big day for one of the ABers. We have been told that it is unruliejulies birthday and Id like to wish her a Happy Halloween Birthday from all at AB. Have a good one.

Ive almost come to the end of this weeks blog. Im just wondering how many people will know the film that the quote in the headline is from. No doubt Google will provide the answer for anyone whos wondering. Good film though, a classic. But, for now, that is everything and I will be back with another offering next week.
