Dear Ed,
A bit tongue in cheek perhaps, but I wonder if a section for ‘Senior Cits‘ (older subscribers) would be of interest – say over 60s:- How do they spend most of their time? Have they any particular needs? What organisations do they belong to and do they find them helpful? How important to them is a computer and email? Do they find shopping a problem?
The questions were meant as suggestions of topics that older people might like to discuss and exchange ideas about. I'm not a 'cheeky young bu99er' and would be interested to take part in that sort of discussion myself.
I'm a cheeky young bugger in her 50s and I really like talking to all the delightful elderly folk on here. I don't think they should be put in their own section. Some of them should probably be sectioned, though
I havent got a clue about lots of peoples ages on here - its only when they make certain comments about the past that I then realise, up until then I've been in the dark - its quite nice.
Oh dear, not a very encouraging picture. I’ll draw my conclusions from what others say and how they say it ...... now, how shall I spend the rest of the day!
What do you mean, Coldicote.?....."Oh dear, not a very encouraging picture."
Are you referring to the image which vulcan42 portrayed of me?... A purple faced, big headed creature with lots of testicles..(oops I meant Tentacles.)
