....we know the baby survived but when the women were marched out of the camp its mother, who presumably was hiding it somehow, died en route - so where was it? Who saved it?

We didn't see them carrying it - we don't know how they hid it - we didn't hear it crying - there was no sign of it - but we know it survived. That bugged me a bit JJ. It couldn't have been easy to smuggle a baby with them.
