tv switching channels

my tv keeps channel hopping between channels 1 and 7 it has been doing it since 10am this morning and its still going strong can anybody help me figure out what the problem is!!! thanks

Channel switching!!!!!

My TV will not stop switching channels it has been doing it all day today and i cant stop it i've switched it off and taken batteries out of remote pulled out all scart leads etc and it still carries...

Freeview Box

Do i need a scart to plug my freeview box into my tv?? My tv is old and has no scart in the back?? i've heard i don't need a scart just coaxial ariel is this true???
