"Memory could not be read"

An error in windows explorer keeps coming up saying: Instruction at "0x5ad71531" referenced memory at "0x000340d0". The memory could not be read. Does anyone know why this happens?

N64 Rom Emulator problems

I've got the 1964 ROM Emulator and a copy of Mario 64 but when I load the game, it says there's no controller so I can't play the game. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
