How do you cook beetroot...

My friend just gave me some beetroot from his allotment and I have not got a clue how to cook it. Please can anyone help....

Norethisterone to delay a period.

Has anyone ever taken Norethisterone to delay a period. I started them 3 days ago so that I would not have my period going on holday and have ended up with really bad cramps just like period pain....
