anyone know the answer to this riddle please just cant figure it out ---you have 9 balls same size and colour but one weighs more than the others using balancing scales (as in the scales of justice)...

how do you measure depth underground

for example how would you measure the depth of the euro tunnel at the centre as this is also below water as well as earth and what instrument would you use?
