deleted folder from removable usb stick

Ahhhhh I have accidently deleted a folder from my removable usb stick, where has it gone and why has it not gone into my recycle bin on the desktop? Am using windows 7 professional.

How do I stop a frog from laying its eggs under my wheelie bin?
