Finding a grave

Hi folks. Still trying to trace my mate who died a few years ago. Just wondered though , if he died in England but his folks are from Scotland and live there then where is he likely to be buried....

Just moved back home to find out a mate of mine has died but I don't talk to his family so they won't tell me where he's buried. Can I get a hold of his death certificate to find out how he died and...
