Auto Capitals - help!

Using Lotus wordpro (perhaps it's the same for other programmes?) - after a full stop, automatically changes next word to start with capital letter. How do I change this? I want to insert capitals at...

Whenever I get sent a jokey picture on wordpad, it tells me it can't do anything with the graphics. Why? What can I do? Please help cos I am missing out on laughs!
