Does Anyone Remember The Thick Yellow Emulsion Used On Scraped Knees At School?

It was in a brown round bottle and was liberally dabbed onto grazes. It didn’t sting. It wasn’t iodine as such. I have in mind maybe it was called bromaline or something similar? I could be wrong....
