Finding copyright owners.

I want to find the copyright owners of a series of magazines, published during the 1980`s. I have comprehensively tried all the normal sources, but have drew a blank in every case. Any ideas, please?...

Jerky videos

Whenever I transfer videos from camcorder and - especially - digital camera to PC, and subsequently, to disc, why on playback, do they frequently "jerk"? The same thing happens when I use Windows...
