Hi. I'm trying to take a screenshot on a Windows 8 laptop, but not having much luck.
I Google'd it (obvs) but it doesn't seem to be working...?
It looks like it's saving, but I can't then find it in the 'pictures' file :-/

*** hate Windows 8...

You should have a snip tool built in to W8 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/use-snipping-tool-capture-screen-shots#1TC=windows-10

I might be completely wrong as i don't have Win 8 but i thought with a screenshot it didn't save, you have to 'paste' it on to a blank document and then save.
Windows 7 screen shot of a page.

1) Present the page and press Print Screen key( to the right of F12)
2) Start…..programs….accessories….Paint.
3) Paste.

That's for Windows 7.................which doesn't help ;-) Does it?

No, that doesn't work either :-/
It does seem to do something when I press 'print screen', but when I then go into paint, I'm unable to click on the 'paste' option.
