I wonder how many of these people will feel the same in 12 Months time, when in the towns they live in, will have problems getting a doctors appointment, getting there children into their local schools, less jobs available, and no room at hospitals?

You're mixing me up with another ABer, Mosaic. Bit chippy, very left wing and loves immigrants but doesn't like paying for other peoples' kids.
But I'm glad you brought up children and old people. Noble though it is, before welcoming the world's poor here, let's empty our orphanages and look after our own elderly folk.(that need it)
I'm quite old and poor myself. Every Christmas, I read about other ABers tucking into gold-plated turkeys with their heating on , tears streaming down my frozen cheeks into my tin of cold beans. (if I'm lucky) Nobody cares.
