Leather Sofas?

Having my lounge re-decorated and it is all looking adorable.. but do I buy new leather sofas for Perry to claw to death... or just wait till he's in his box (could be 10 more bloody years!!) before replacing the furniture...? (You all know I love my little black prince, so no nasty responses.. just wondered cats vs leather)

Get the sofa but put double sided cellotape on the edges for a while to stop him clawing - cats hate the stuff.

We used a Plant spray set on Jet to stop our Cat damaging the furniture (like a water pistol) worked a treat, he soon learnt it wasn't a good place to sharpen his claws and we all live happily etc ... .. .

I have put sellotape on the cat before which was a rather amusing Sunday afternoon.. (don't call the RSPCA)..I might just leave it.. I don't want tape on my couches for 10 years... (if he's lucky! lol)

Why not just keep cat out of the room by keeping door closed? Simple isn't it?
