any one had a holiday at cap `agde ? your views about it,

it was 20 years ago so it may all have changed... but it was very pleasant; good shops and restaurants, of course; beaches within reach (we had a car, so could also tour the surrounding countryside), and we stayed in villa rooms - sorry can't remember the name. Anyway, enjoyable summer holiday.

I went there about 25 years ago - great place - superb beaches catering for both kit on & kit off sunbathing. Roadside wine sellers were pretty cheap too

I went about 4 years ago. 12 of us hired a house, and stayed for a week. Lots of BBQ's in the evening. Beaches pretty good. Weather pretty good. Number of large clubs nearby, including Amnesia which did a foam party. Beer is expensive in clubs, but a bottle of spirits and you get all the mixers for free.
