Heat In Green Chillies

I put 4 green chillies in my piccalilli, but then decided it would not be hot enough for my son so added 4 red ones as well, am now waiting for a visit from son for a taste test, he does like it hot but will it blow his head off? time will tell.

Depends on the size of the chillis. The smaller the hotter(generally)

The little bird's eye green chillis can be pretty vicious and if you put red scotch bonnets in stand well back. phew!!

No they were not the little ones, they were the long ones that supermarkets sell, so may not be to bad.
