Earlier this year I put a post on regards " The worst thing you have ever bought" more than likely someone will find the link?? I purchased a KETER Plastic Shed just under three years ago, when assembled it looked the picture, it had a concrete base that was lined with a damp course, it took me just under 3hrs to put this 8x6 shed up on my own on a dry / clear / no-wind day as the sheets are light in weight so I did not need the Wind, after assembly I was proud of my shed ( As us men folk are) I have a lot of tools in the unit comprising of drill / bits, Sockets, a lot of metal Tools, I noticed after about 1 / 2 years the metal bit I had were getting Rusty & put this down to vets, the unit has 2, one in the middle Front / rear, so I added another an other 4 hoping this would cure the problem, no chance, the rust continued, contacted KETER UK & explained, they said have you tried this, Yes, That, Yes, the other, yes, ould not understand the problem, I would have thought, if a customer rang about a complaint like this they should have come to investigate ( No) Then the Door warped, Replaced, The roof Leaked, replaced, I was really Izzed off with this purchase of £450 & told them what I though of their Rubbish Product, as it happens these are made in Israel, I said they should have stopped there, KETER Compensated me with a £100 which did not cover the value of the tools I had, so to conclude, if you are thinking of buying one of these sheds " DONT" Appearance, looks well, space with shelves, good, Condensation ( Absolutely Rubbish ) In case this is Mentioned, It's not a moan as some may think, but think twice about this product & go for Wood, I wish I'd never bothered with the thing, end of comment, think about your £££££££££££ before you buy.

I once bought an Australian car a Lonsdale , basically a Mitsubishi made in Oz. Good car but the heater was designed for Australia, even on full heat the windscreen froze over , it was undrivable in the UK winter. Your shed was made for a hot dry climate like my Lonsdale car was. Nothing wrong with it just designed for somewhere other than the UK.
I have a traditional wooden shed with felt roof; within it are stored 2 pushbikes, sundry gardening tools and an assortment of other items which include ferrous metal parts. Guess what, all are showing signs of rust, some worse than others.

Be warned, storing tools and other metal ferrous items in damp conditions is likely to lead to rusting – consider yourself advised.

Ellina, I would advise the wood, if that's the way you go, make sure it get positioned in a vented area, above the ground either on Blocks on the shed's bearers, depending on the size, the 8x6 normally have 4, I would get a roll of Felt between the Blocks & the underside of the shed, if it's treated every 12 months it will last for years, I should have done that with the Wood shed I got rid of, but after thought.x
