I have just bought a cream suede sofa, I think I had a moment of madness considering I have 3 very young cats, ie 12 muddy paws!!
Does anyone know how to clean suede? The seat cushion covers come off and can be dry cleaned, but cleaning the main body/arms/back of the sofa is a mystery!! I am thinking maybe a suede brush and maybe some Vanish?? But where do you buy a suede brush from and is that the best way to clean the sofa? Any suggestions very welcome.

Where to buy a suede brush? These should be available from any of the 'quality' department stores (e.g. John Lewis) or try shops which sell leather and suede jackets. (They're not hard to find. You might also get them from many hardware shops).

once it is all spotless again, treat it with a 'scotchguard' product suitable for suede that will repel water (Similar to the sprays available to protect new suede shoes)

Than a dab with a slightly damp cloth will be all that it needs.
