I couldn't watch it - I'd be in floods of tears :(

I understand sher, especially when you still have young children.
I often wonder why it is that Great Ormond Street seems to get so much publicity when the UK's biggest children's hospital (and a major forerunner in medical research), Alder Hey, seems to be almost unknown outside of its local area?
The same could be said of the children's hospital in Birmingham or any other hospital, although it's disgusting that any hospital needs to fundraise to do the job it's designed for.
Tonight's programme was a heart-breaker at the end.

I'm sure both Birmingham and Alder Hey appeared in 'Children's Hospital' series but that was some time ago now.

You're right of course funding shouldn't be a problem but sadly it is.
I refused to watch it too - too heartbreaking I would think.
I don't watch any hospital things (stomach way too weak), but definately couldn't watch this, too sad.
Was it the little black boy who they said died at the end?
