For the average female, how many days growth do you need after shaving for your hair to be long enough to be waxed? (NB Not hair length in mm - just the average timescale, please)

I want to get my underarms waxed for the summer, but I hate having any hair there, even to let it grow long enough to wax! If I knew some specific time scale, I could make the appointment X days in advance, and then I think I could manage it.

And advice? x

Just a word of advice , I had my underarms waxed in 1999 and now they still itch like mad after shaving, and am only at peace when the hairs have grown. This never happened before the waxing.

Hi malaise,

Usually 2 weeks is the average time to wait for them to be an adequate length for waxing.
