I recall getting the Heysham ferry to Belfast in the '60s and we connected with the train to Derry. From which station did we travel from Belfast?
I don't remember if we got a taxi or was there a platform very near the harbour which has now gone?

The nearest station to Belfast Harbour in the 1960s would have been York Road, which had a direct train service to Derry until 1978 (and eventually closed in 1992):
