My wife has now purchased a I-Pod Shuffle which say to sync it to I-Tunes. So my latest question is how do I do this from my Desktop USB connection. Oh to be young again with half a brain.

Does it not come with the correct sync cable (Should have a USB connector or one end and whatever connection it uses at the Shuffle end)? It will depend on what generation the Shuffle is, of course.

Plug the cable in to PC and iPod and launch iTunes. It should come up with an icon for the Shuffle, click on it and there should be a button with Sync on it, Just click that.

Thanks Stephen it did come with the lead. However when I connected to the computer via a UB extension lead last night it seemed to connect OK and was shown connected on the USB desktop shortcut . However this

Don't know what happened their but to continue a message comes up saying Device is not recognised, so a fruitless day so far. Have tried going into the Control Panel and adding a Device but no joy. Anyone can help this obviously non-tech wrinklie.
