you can contact the organsier and ask for a list of winners, they will not give out address's tho. I can only speak for ourselves but when we have competions we do pick genuine winners from the entries sent in!
im pretty sure that lists of winners you get in magazines and newspapers are genuine as they're regulated by some watchdog or another. Due to Data Protection laws though you'd never be able to access full addresses which is why you only ever see names and towns. I know that comps in Chat, TakeABreak etc are genuine as my aunt seems to win money/random household goods every month. I on the other hand couldn't win an argument. I think her entries must have priority post written on them or somEthing! LOL.

Mkt - she will be using stickybacked envelopes of course.

I have won some magazine competitions and a friend won 1000 cds (yes that's correct) in Q magazine!!!

ooh 1000 cds. i would love that prize!! although it'd prob add to my 'not getting out of the house enough' syndrome!

Mkt - they expected him to go and collect them!!!!!

Imagine large cabin trunk on the train. Eventually they agreed to let him order them monthly.
