Favourite Cooking Task

I'm not a keen cook - the part on Escape to the Country where someone says that the kitchen is the 'heart of the home' is so not me - but have just been getting lunch ready and realised that I really enjoy preparing runner beans. It's so satisfying making that first cut at the top and then running the knife round to cut off a long thin ribbon. How sad is that?! What do others enjoy?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a "pegging fetish", colours are matched, socks in pairs hung by the toes so they can be rolled together as they come off the line, etc. etc. My family reckons I'm ocd.

Yep, even roll them together before I unpeg those socks. Image how I disappointed I am when I find a single sock left in the laundry basket! I look for the other one in the pair and put them both back in the laundry bag to get washed again together. But none of this causes me any anxiety, in fact its all very pleasurable!! Sad eh?
