yay finally
Oh Don Henley everytime
Im with randomsasha on this one, i prefer the Ataris version.

I love the original by Don Henley.

However, I also really like DJ Sammy's version.

Which is best? Depends on what mood I'm in. :)

It has to be Don really there is no competiton, the version without the dance beat however is slightly less awful however, few covers no matter how good the artist ( not a category that anyone with the prefix DJ could ever even apsire to) are much cop except Brian Ferry's Jealous Guy

Sarcasm Enclosed

The Cover of Live And Let Die by Guns N' Roses is rubbish compared to the mighty tuneless wimpy version by the on stage dynamo that is Paul McCartney

The tape I made for listening to in the car this summer has, among others, on one side the originals of The Boys of Summer and the Baywatch theme tune, and the other contains the dance remixes. All fantastic tunes for driving in the sun!

Out of the two choices I would have to say that the original is the better as DJ Sammy's version was just garbage.

But The Atari's have covered this song and I think it's better than the original (simply because it's not dance music related)
