This is a serious question.
Could any of the religious AB members please explain in words that I can understand or without pasting lengthy gibberish tomes, why their Almighty has seen fit to kill over 2000 people in Nepal?

////Keystone, I suggested you read what naomi wrote, not anything I had written.////
There you go again. Its "keyplus" and not keystone. Please first of all deal with hangover and then come back.
Finally, I can't understand Atheistic logic. They can't stop talking about someone they believe exists. No peace of mind there is it?

@wildwood
Even as an atheist, I think I've worked it out.
God likes gardening, forests, jungles, plains, mountains, glaciers, rivers, lakes, swamps, oceans, deserts so he makes millions of square miles of the stuff. It gets dull after a day or two, so he plonks two people in on particularly pleasant area, to keep him company.
However, he doesn't want it to turn into porn because he isn't able to get any nookie himself (nothing worse than watching other people getting their jollies if you're a virgin, yourself), so he doesn't even grant them the noggin to lust after one another.
We know what happened next and he/she/it has been punishing us, ever since, because we've got pleasures that they cannot experience for themselves, as an ethereal being and all. Envy, plain and simple. He can't operate an automatic rifle, so he uses natural disasters, instead.

Keyplus - "Perhaps I should have said that they can't stop talking about someone they believe does not exist."
You're right. Atheists do like to talk about religion don't they? It's almost as if it deeply concerns them isn't it? How strange.
Or maybe not quite so strange. You see, you of all people, should understand that not everyone agrees with your Islamic religious viewpoint. As a functionally rational person (I assume), you will no doubt agree that even though a person may not have a particular dislike of an individual, they may be gravely concerned by the implications of that person's belief system. Particularly when it has been repeatedly demonstrated that certain members of a rather particular belief system have shown a tendency to promote the idea that evisceration of oneself - making sure to eviscerate as many other people as possible - is a way of getting a first class ticket into heaven.
As you well know, I could mention a great many other failings of this particular religion, such as rampant misogyny, tacit acceptance of paedophilia, acceptance of murder and theft as a legitimate source of income, slavery... the list of despicable acts that are accepted as legitimate under Islam is as breath-taking as it is frightening.
Keyplus, your fake incredulity is wearing rather thin. You know full well why atheists are deeply concerned about religion. I know that you know this because I and others have told you, and you specifically, why they are concerned about it. The fact that you still, after all this time, claim incredulity at the notion shows you to be precisely what I have always believed you to be - a contrarian and a liar.
