ninety and nineteen are almost impossible to distinguish even with sound effects ( OK it is obvious I am deaf )

Only two, unfortunately.
I only got 2. I thought the item about John Barrowman afterwards was interesting, when he said if you're talking to a deaf person and they can't grasp what you're saying don't say "it doesn't matter".
My partner has poor hearing, and I'm always doing that. I reallise now how frustrating it must be for him.
I got 3/4, I must try harder as I have slight hearing problems.

No it was hard - they were using sounded and unsounded consonants - which you cant really distinguish

I got 4/4 although I am slightly deaf and do a bit of lip reading in noisy places.
I got 4/4 after a lot of thought (I've shared this on facebook - I know! I rarely use it) it helps me to understand how Mr J2 is feeling - his hearing is deteriorating and I am accused of mumbling etc. - wish he'd go for a free hearing test at Specsavers, but I suspect he just doesn't want any more expensive bad news after new specs..
Doh, only two right. And my mrs say's that I'm selectively deaf !.
