Garden Pond Conundrum

The previous owner built a small round pond in the garden, it wasn't finished and I'm hoping to do so, but I do have a problem. The pond is perfectly round with a circumference of 411cm, and I have a sufficient number of 5cm square slate tiles to go on top of the small retaining wall. Is there a formula or method to work out the angle the sides of the tiles need to be cut to give me a circle that will fit the pond?

50 cm?
411/5Cm=82
360 deg /82=4.4deg

I think.
So you want the tiles to tessellate and make a circle?
You're making a job of it. You'll have to cut the sides of the tiles as well. I should 'offer 1 up and scribe it.
Using Zac's calculation (which is correct) you'll be taking 2.2 deg off 2 sides of each tile. In all honesty, it's going to look just as good to lay them as is and fill the tapered gap with grout.
5 cm is 2 inches.
The tiles are very small.

Thank you all for replying so quickly. The tiles are thin and I have a good electric tile cutter so I'll give it a go. many thanks Zacs that is what I was looking for.
Agree with others. Just do a slightly tapered joint. Impossible,to,take 2.2deg off each edge unless, you grind them!
