I burnt my arm with steam from a pot of cooking beans about 2 years ago.  Is there anything that can remove the marks?

try rubbing vitamin E oil into it...should fade with time
Here in the States we have a (relatively) new product called Mederma that is supposed to help fade scars. This is an over-the-counter ointment, and a legitimate medication, not a homeopathic remedy.

It might go by a different name in the UK, I recommend you speak with a pharmacist to see if it's available there.

Here's the website for it:

http://www.mederma.com/

Good luck!
Bio-oil is also good for scars. You can order it from your chemist if they don't already stock it.

palmer's cocoa butter do a scar serum, which is pretty much stuffed with vitamin e, as suggested above, though it has the added attractions of shark oil and 3 other ingredients too, i think.

it works, and it's about the same price as bio-oil (about 10)

it's possible mederma also goes by the name contractubex in the uk? i'm not sure.
