I've only ordered from them once before, and the wrong item was sent, but it was all sorted out and replaced. I ordered a dress up outfit last week from a company and they said it had been sent 2nd class last Saturday... It has not arrived, one week later. What happens if I never receive it? It's not the sellers fault if has gone missing, but will I be refunded? Will the seller believe I did not receive it, how do I know if the seller actually even sent it?
TIA

It is the seller's responsibility to ensure you receive the goods you've ordered.

If you don't receive the item you MUST be refunded - it is up to the seller to claim compensation from Royal Mail but you must be refunded even if he doesn't get the compensation.

You can open a dispute with eBay for Item Not Received.
Go to the Resolution Centre and open a case for item not received. You can either ask for item to be sent again or receive a refund. Sometimes this only applies to a sho on EBay not always a private seller.

I think the neighbour has it! Will send my mum round to ask... Neighbour told my sister today that she's had a parcel there for a couple of days... She sees my mum everyday! Grrrr...
