Bed Room Scenario!

I wonder what other Answerbank 'readers' think about this. My divorced sister who is 70 years old lives with myself & my husband. Her man friend occasionally stays the night with her and that's where the problem is. My husband and my two children (both who are married and live elsewhere) disapprove. It doesn't bother me but I don't like the disapproval from my family. Any opinions out there?

Perhaps his wife would object
Seems to me now that he is hiding something. Maybe a wife ?
but none of this is anyone's business but your sister's. If there are "living together" issues that need addressing, like bathroom scheduling, "noises" in the night, kitchen left messy and so on then its reasonable to address them....for the rest....nobody's business.

Thx for all yr comments. I shall chat to hubby when he gets better (He's in hospital at the moment) & try to find out why he disapproves so much. I suspect his answer will be related to the fact that the man friend ought to have sis stay there for a change.
i think it sounds a bit odd. surely if his house is empty they would be happier at his.maybe he is ashamed of his house ?
If I had a choice to go to somewhere clean and tidy and share a night with someone I fancied and then leave, or stay at home and try and make my place suitable to invite someone round it would be absolutely no contest!
