I'm looking for a simple recipe for an old fashioned "suet" steak & kidney pudding like my grandma used to make. Iv'e found a whole load of them but I would like one which doesn't involve bay leaves, tomato puree, olive oil or fresh thyme. A recipe that doesn't need a pressure cooker a microwave oven or a honours degree in domestic science. I'd Just like one like my grandma used to make back in the sixties.Thank you.

If you can't find a recipe without these ingredients , just leave out the bay leaf, the thyme or tomato puree - and use a different oil, e.g. sunflower oil .....

Delia is usually pretty reliable.
Don't like kidney so haven't tried this recipe, but she's usually pretty foolproof.
