At the start of the year my cat Henry caught my hand right at the base of the thumb. It took a while to heal but now it has but its left a scar and its quite painful I can only describe it as a nervy sting type of pain. Is this normal for scarring?

Yes, that is not beyond the bounds of "normality."

Thank you Sqad
You've met my daughter the hypochondriac haven't you Sqad?

Runs for cover ...........
nungate...LOL.

She is in good company as AB is the hypochondriac's paradise where words of solace and "hugs"(can't stand that concept) abound.

;-)
Aww sqad - I'm sending you a big fat hug!!!!
Queenie, rub oil on it every day.
Sqad, that's unkind
LOL

\\\\I'm sending you a big fat hug!!!!\\\

I don't care whether she is fat or thin........."will she do a turn?"
Sqad is clearly having an hormonal surge.
Well, I suppose it is in Body and Soul!
Had a tussle with a cat a few years ago and had a similar scar develop between bases of index and ring finger. It, too was rather painful... not all the time, but when it hurt... it hurt. Decided to have Dr. take a look, ond behold and low, the cat had lost the tip of ones of it's claws in my hand. Dr. removed it and it's fine now...

Just a reminder of how little I like cats...
Were you pussy-footing around, queenofmean?
