Missing Sound Icon...

Self confessed luddite (that's me) asks where could my sound icon have vanished to and how can I get it back? used to be bottom right hand corner of screen (loudspeaker shape)? Must have pressed something in error I suppose.

Do you have a triangle? If so, click on that and it might show hidden icons.
