I am wondering why my on-line website pages often appear left of centre on the screen. They look OK at the preparatory stage, viewed as a web page before uploading, but once on line they are not central. I’ve tried experimenting with Page Set-up, increasing the number of pixels horizontally, but that doesn’t seem to help. Any ideas please?

The way that you (and others) see your website depends upon your (and their) screen resolution. Many people now advise using 'responsive website design' (google it!) so that your web pages automatically adjust to the screen resolution of the viewer, using 'liquid layouts'. Otherwise you probably should optimise your website for a resolution of 1024×768 because that's the most commonly used monitor resolution and also adapts fairly easily to other screen resolutions.

Very grateful for your advice Buenchico. I'm busy for the next few days but will do some experimenting as soon as I can.
