Triax Combi Error Message

Our normally reliable Triax Combi 114 won't record. I am getting an error message saying 'Not Valid Enter Recorder' (even though there is a USB in - and I've tried several sticks - all with the same result).
Anybody know why this should be? We have two machines and they're both doing the same thing.

Thanks BC - it eventually righted itself (on both machines) but I'll bear that email address in mind for future reference.
