Somebody by playing with their keyboard has managed to turn the tablet into a silent one! All settings are OK for sound but it remains dumb! Any ideas?

Do check in the settings screens themselves. It was only recently that I discovered there are multiple volume controls and the easy to get to control must affect only one of them ?

Thanks geezer but i have been through all settings and all set to Max! He says he was trying to be a quick typist when it died. So i assume he found a combination that caused this!

Back it up and reset it to factory settings. This has happened before - I'll try and find the link, I know it's somewhere!

Thanks did! I know how to reset it. Not a problem! He reckons he was typing two handed and has hit a combination that has brought this about!
