Any one used these sauce packets? Added meat and pots to slow cooker, packet says add 50 ml water, but that is hardly any.... Shouldn't everything be covered in liquid?

My slow cooker doesn't need a lot of water. Go by the guidelines on the packet. All should be ok. If in doubt though, add a tad more water just to satisfy yourself.

I've put 100ml in.. Going to work now, so hope at 3.30 I don't come home to a burnt sticky mess! Lol
Slow cookers do not really loose liquid like cooking in the oven so you don't need too much to start with or it will end up runny and watery.
Double the amount of liquid is way too much. If you're still around, remove some. Hope you haven't already gone out.

Lol, too late! Will see what is awaiting me when I return home!
Fingers crossed. You never know, it just might turn out to be lovely. Good luck xx
well????
The other ingredients will provide more moisture.
If it's too wet just take the lid off for a bit. It'll soon reduce.

Sorry! It was fine when I got home, amount of liquid was fine, added some double cream for the last hour of cooking. It was quite nice, but I prefer tomatoey based curry sauces rather then creamy ones. I need to look up some slow cooker recipes!
