Did anyone see all three episodes?

Myself and OH did but were completely disappointed by the ending.

Again a 3 hour long series could have eaasily been done in 2. Just the merest of references to real life and absolutly no solid reason why the nanny wanted 'Tom'. Why he pushed his Mrs downstairs. And was he really 11 years old??

At the start too scary for me, and now after all these comments I'm so glad I gave it a miss. {Though still sticking with The Missing}
Seems Michael Palin snatched their hand off after reading the first scene - he obviously thought it was good enough for him.
I thoroughly enjoyed it also...very dark and brooding. Just my kind of winter telly. The ending made perfect sense to me.
I wish some of Susan Hill's books would be adapted in a similar way.

Since there were some clearly enjoyed it and some couldn't stand it then appears true 'you can't please all the people all the time'

For this reason I am NOT selecting a 'Best Answer'
