I do a lot of folk festivals and they don't look too bad for a Morris troupe. Many of the troupes have blackened faces, some have sticks and swords and others just waft around handkerchiefs. The majority to me are ***. Btw, happy Lancashire day, from a Yorkshireman.

I were in Lancashire on Tuesday. There's something about elderly gentlemen speaking with a soft Lancashire accent that just makes me want to hug 'em, they sound right kind, and just like me grandad :)
